My Weird Nightmare Baby
When Neil Pierson was young, his father was killed by a tsunami of newborn infants.
As an adult, Neil carries a deep-seated fear of children. Unfortunately, his society has no tolerance for “baby haters.”
Declared a criminal, he’s sentenced to look after an infant for a year.
This is no normal infant, however.
It’s a demonic imitation, with an insatiable bloodlust and the ability to act on it.
Neil wants nothing more than to be rid of the strange nightmare child, but if he wants to survive in a world of madness, murder, and meat, he’ll have to do the unthinkable–learn how to be a father.
“This is what bizarro is supposed to be. It’s over-the-top weird, gross, and funny–yet thought-provoking at the same time. Absolutely loved it.” – Kevin Stadt, author of Warped Brood
“My Weird Nightmare Baby is vivid, absurd, hilarious, and bizarre in all the best ways. If you’re a fan of Bizarro, this is a must read.” – John Chambers, author of Cold War
“…unhinged, enjoyable and funny as balls.” – Margaret Hamnett
Shit, love, and burgers
Melroy Gallowich has Ass Burgers Syndrome, a disorder that causes him to shit fully-cooked hamburger patties. It also affects his social skills, which is why he can’t get a girlfriend and has no friends other than his kooky cousin/roommate Bob, who’s always finding a way to get on Melroy’s nerves.
But when Melroy loses his job over his inability to defeat a video game boss, it’s his knowledge of Ass Burgers Syndrome that lands him new employment at Burger Lord, whose eponymous CEO thinks burgers taste better if they’ve come from a person’s anus.
Working at Burger Lord is no cakewalk-the kitchen’s a hellhole and the Burger Lord himself is a sadist, but at least he’s better than Melroy’s inadvertently acquired enemies, all of whom will stop at nothing to see him dead. As Melroy battles the chaos that has become his life, however, silver linings emerge. There are new friends to be made, and he might even be on the verge of finding love for the first time in his life—if he can survive long enough.
